Real skills. Real impact. Right from the start

Join our graduate program where the skills you learn enable better lives, right from the start

The Acumen Health Allied Health Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to launch your career with one of Australia’s leading occupational rehabilitation brands, with structured learning, hands on experience and exceptional support built in from day one.

If you hold a degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology or rehabilitation counselling, you can apply for a permanent role and begin building a meaningful, long‑term career in occupational rehabilitation.

From your very first day, you’ll be supported to grow your confidence, capability and clinical judgement, while making a genuine difference in people’s lives.

At Acumen Health, we don’t believe graduates should be left to figure things out alone. That’s why our Graduate Program includes a structured, facilitator‑led induction designed to set you up for success.

You’ll be guided through:

  • Health portfolio inductions
  • Online and facilitator‑led learning modules
  • Scheme‑specific training (including portfolios such as the Australian Defence Force and Department of Veteran Affairs)
  • Practical learning that connects theory to real‑world case work

This ensures you start your role with clarity, confidence and the right foundations in place.

Unmatched education, supervision and mentorship

In your first 12 months, you’ll receive over 100 hours of dedicated education, supervision and mentoring — an investment valued at over $23,000 per graduate. This includes:

  • Regular 1:1 support with your team manager
  • Peer‑to‑peer learning, including shadowing and file reviews
  • Ongoing supervision aligned to key milestones
  • Ad hoc mentoring and scheme‑specific guidance as your caseload develops

This level of support is deliberately designed to accelerate your learning, strengthen your clinical decision‑making and help you grow into a confident, capable clinician.

Experience a wide variety of case work

Much of our work happens in the community and across diverse industries and schemes. As a graduate, you’ll quickly build exposure to a broad range of clients, workplaces and rehabilitation pathways, helping you develop adaptable, in‑demand skills early in your career.

You’ll be supported to grow at the right pace.

Continual professional development

Your learning doesn’t stop after induction. Throughout the program, you’ll benefit from:

  • Ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Graduate networking sessions
  • Peer learning and collaboration
  • Engagement with senior leaders across the business

As your skills grow, so do your career pathways.

A career that creates real impact

Every day, you’ll see the difference your work makes, helping people move forward after injury and regain confidence at work and in life. It’s truly purposeful work, backed by strong support and clear career pathways.
