Tiarne’s work worthy of outstanding achievement nomination

Acumen Health are delighted to have Lead Consultant @Tiarne Barnett be nominated for an Outstanding Achievement in the Return to Work Award for Physical Claims at the annual APRA WA awards.

Tiarne was nominated due to her approach, innovative thinking, and unwavering patience which plays a pivotal role in keeping her clients motivated and connected with their employers after an injury.

Through strategic guidance and creative problem-solving, Tiarne helps injured workers reintegrate into their work environment despite their injury.

Acumen Health are incredibly proud of Tiarne’s dedication to advocating for her clients, seeking as many options as possible to help injured workers during a vulnerable time in their lives.

Acumen Health General Manager Michael Blore gave a statement of support. “I can confidently attest to Tiarne’s exceptional skills in navigating complex cases,” he said.

“She has outstanding case management abilities and her capacity to negotiate successful outcomes.”

“Tiarne’s outstanding performance in this instance exemplifies why she is truly deserving of recognition and serves as a testament to her exceptional skills as a rehabilitation consultant” he added.

“Initially I felt quite overwhelmed, as I do not actively seek recognition or nomination for these types of accolades, but after a few days it had sunk in, and I felt very proud to be recognised for the work that I do,” Tiarne said.

“I like the challenge that comes with each client’s unique case and how I need to be able to adapt to each situation and be creative with how to best support someone with their injury recovery.

It also helps to have an amazing team and team manager supporting you, especially when you feel stuck. Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results and knowing that I have a team there to support me, allows me to push myself to achieve these outcomes and ensure the people we are assisting with their recovery also achieve their goals.”
